2 Effective Ways to Make Money Online

It's a lockdown, and perhaps most of you are locked at home without any possibility to earn money. It's a great time to self-reflect and learn new skills that will allow you to flourish on the job market and even as an entrepreneur.

I want to give you two different ways that you can take to earn money from home. I've checked both of them, and I'm going to tell you now - they're real, and you can leverage them to build your business from home.
1. Freelancing

That might seem obvious, but still, so many people have marketable skills but won't sell them on the market. The question is why? Would you want to spend all day watching Netflix without doing any work whatsoever? And don't get me wrong - I do that as well, but I try to do something productive every day, even if it's a small thing.
There are platforms like Upwork and Fiverr where you can start earning money right away. You don't need to set up your website, create your logo and your brand. All you need to do is register on those platforms and start selling your services - no matter what's your specialisation. The only problem with those platforms is 20% commission they take for every gig you get.
Even though it might seem like not a big deal in the beginning, if you do calculations, 20% is a lot of money. Hence, I'd recommend you to put in the work and create your own brand to sell your services. Initially, you don't need a fancy logo and promotional campaign. You can run adds on social media, and create your entire online presence for free if you know the right resources.
The good thing about the Internet is the ability to learn anything anytime. Look for places where you can create a website, logo and host it on a server for an affordable price. Services like wix.com allow you to do just that and it's super easy.
It's not an advertisement - it's just the best way to start for beginners.
The third option would be contacting businesses directly and pointing out what you can do to improve their website, logo or something that could bring them revenue. This option is especially efficient when you know your craft, and you're good at what you're doing. You can contact businesses via email or even Instagram (which can work really well if you're persistent enough).
2. Dropshipping

Dropshipping has been extremely popular recently. Some people have earned tremendous amounts of money just because they had an effective marketing funnel. If you haven't heard about dropshipping, it's about selling products from a third-party supplier. You can make money from selling products from places like AliExpress, buying them cheaper and selling them at a higher price.
You'll need to know how to set up your online store and redirect customers to your website from marketing campaigns. I love this method because you don't need to manufacture your own products, and the only thing you care about is getting customers. You don't even need to ship them and take care of the logistics as your manufacturer takes care of that. However, the main pitfall of dropshipping is oversaturated market which is full of competition selling similar products to yours.
You will need an effective marketing strategy and a lot of perseverance.
If you're interested in dropshipping and want to learn more about it, let me know in the comments, I'll make a full guide to dropshipping just for you.
In the meantime, stay safe and best of luck to your online ventures!
